• According to the declaration made in the Union Budget of 2018-19, a total of 10.74 million poor families have been targeted in the Ayushman Bharat Scheme.
• The Deprived rural households and urban workers were identified on the basis of business category.

planning to cover the entire population of the country under this universal health insurance scheme.
