This Sandhya Suraksha Scheme has been started by the government for the senior citizens of the state. Under this scheme,Pension has been started for financial assistance of all senior citizens. Not only this, under the scheme, the State Welfare Department is providing monthly basis Provides financial assistance to the elderly in which they will be given a monthly fund of Rs.400 / - per month so that all of them can manage their basic requirements in old age.

Eligibility - Sandhya Suraksha Yojana 2019
- The applicant must be a resident of Karnataka
- The applicant should be 65 years of age or above
- Total income of wife and husband should not exceed 20 thousand rupees
- With this, the applicant's bank account should not have more than 10,000 rupees
- The benefits of this scheme will be given to the citizens of weavers, farmers, fishermen and other unorganized sectors.

There is a condition that the bank account should not have more than 10,000/-. What if for some reason, the individual couldnt withdraw the money, which results in the balance going above 10k? the amount will not be credited after that??
